Our journey starts in Jamaica…

Where our roots run deep. I was born and raised in Saint Andrew, while my husband, Devon, comes from the lush hills of Manchester. Cooking has been a passion of mine since childhood – I started preparing meals for my large family at just nine years old, learning the craft alongside my father. That passion never faded, and in 2015, when the opportunity arose to open our restaurant, we embraced it wholeheartedly.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. Our daughter, Davine, has been an essential part of the kitchen since we first opened, joining us at just 14. What started as an after-school chore quickly grew into a passion, and now she plays a key role in preparing our beloved dishes—though she’s still perfecting her fried dumplings! In the evenings, our eldest son takes charge at the front, greeting guests and managing operations when he’s not competing in volleyball championships. And Devon, the heart of our family, is always busy behind the scenes—running errands, prepping vegetables, or making sure the daily soup (which never lasts long) is just right.

With dreams of opening a second location in the future, we are building a true home away from home for everyone who visits. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick meal or staying awhile to soak in the flavours and hospitality, we invite you to relax, enjoy, and let us take you on a culinary journey to the Caribbean. We can’t wait to welcome you to our family!
